The Vision
It started in 2019 when Marcus Rivera, a graphic designer and skateboard enthusiast, couldn't find streetwear that truly represented his vision of urban culture. Frustrated with mass-produced designs that lacked soul, he decided to create something different.
Working late nights in his Brooklyn apartment, Marcus designed pieces that told stories – clothing that spoke to the skaters, artists, musicians, and dreamers who make up the heart of street culture.
What began as custom designs for friends quickly grew into something bigger. The first UrbanStitch piece wasn't just clothing; it was a statement of authenticity in a world of fast fashion.
